About Experience
Join us for a 3-hour workshop where we'll learn what behavioural science and evolutionary psychology can teach us about how to achieve our health and well-being goals - with a focus on food, movement, and personal peace. On the day, we'll dive into some powerful psychological frameworks for understanding our relationship to food (and sticking to better food choices), plus building lasting exercise habits. We'll also cover the evolutionary science of emotions, why we have them, where they come from, and what purpose they serve. There will be some teaching, interactive elements, reflection and planning exercises - and of course some tips to take forward into your daily lives. Sarah O’Farrell is a behavioural and psychological scientist with almost 15 years of experience developing large-scale health behaviour change interventions for organisations in the technology, food, medical and public health sectors. She is trained in behavioural science, social & cognitive psychology, and neuroscience. She consults with scale-ups and enterprises on how to develop programmes, products and policies that help people to live healthier and happier lives. Sarah was also recently a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Mental Health, and her passion is empowering people to understand the fundamental forces that contribute to happiness and mental well-being.
